The Center for Counseling and Consultation is a community resource where people with normal problems in living can receive help and guidance. The Center is a community supported facility that was organized under Kansas Law and is governed by a Board of Governors composed of citizens from each of the four participating counties including consumer and family member representation.
The Center is staffed by professionally trained mental health personnel and serves all residents of Barton, Rice, Stafford and Pawnee Counties, regardless of age, race, creed or income level. We cultivate an environment of open communication between patients and team members so you feel valued; because you truly are!

How It Works

The Center is a Licensed Community Mental Health Center, serving Barton, Pawnee, Rice and Stafford Counties. Intake is an information gathering session. An assignment is made to a therapist who can offer the most beneficial services for you. Medication or case management referrals may be made after intake.
Zero Reasons Why

In the face of the many struggles members of our community are dealing with, we at The Center have decided to do something different. We are partnering with #ZeroReasonsWhy, which is a teen-led storytelling and community mobilization campaign. Ultimately, #ZRW drives peer-to-peer conversations in order to remove the stigma surrounding mental health and expand suicide prevention efforts.
