Meet the Doctors

Dr. Nichole Mairs was born and raised in Iowa. She has worked in the dental field since high school when she was a dental assistant for her local dentist and later an oral surgeon. Her work experience instilled an interest in dentistry and a desire to pursue a career as a dentist. She obtained her pre-dental education and a Bachelors degree in Biology at Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa where she also competed in track and field.

Your first appointment at Mairs Family Dentistry usually will take about an hour and a half. You will get a chance to meet your doctor and receive a comprehensive oral exam. The exam will include an examination of the mouth for cavities, gum disease, and other dental issues. Your doctor will also do an oral cancer screening, check your blood pressure, and make necessary radiographs.
