My grandfather, Jim Irwin Sr. started the boat business back in 1919 and always made the customer his number one priority. His core values included deepening his relationship with customers and continued service to the community. Our values remain unchanged, with our continued growth and with the help and support of my brother, John Irwin, General Manager, Bruce Wright and all of our dedicated employees.
We will continue the tradition that has made us successful for 100 years. We have expanded our service to communities throughout New Hampshire with stores in Laconia, Hudson, Alton and Alton Bay. For the last hundred years, whenever something happens at the lake - it seems like the Irwin's have been right in the middle of it! When there is an opportunity to help the community, the Irwin's have never shied away from getting involved and doing their part. Irwin Marine weathered through it all, the stock market crash of 1929 and the great depression that ended in 1939.

Our main location in Laconia is the Irwin Marine flagship store. We have been here since the 1920's when the building was first constructed right on the shores of Paugus Bay on beautiful Lake Winnipesaukee.
