I'm a therapist with a real passion for working with women during difficult transitions such as going to college, experiencing heartbreak, becoming pregnant, learning how to be a parent, and separation and divorce. During these times, we discover reserves of inner strength that we never knew we had.
If we can open ourselves up to new ways of interacting with painful experiences, it can unlock the door to honest and vulnerable communication and a greater capacity for love. I've been an adventurer on the path of personal growth for many years and I know how hard it can be to take the initial first steps towards healing.

Individual Therapy
Report
I feel honored each time I embark on a journey of healing and self-expression with a client. I will work with you in a safe and collaborative way to determine your goals for therapy. I will invite you to slow down and turn your attention inward, so you can notice thoughts and feelings that emerge and ultimately learn how to make more choices in the moment rather than simply reacting.
Emdr
Report
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a well-researched and successful psychotherapeutic technique for treating trauma, anxiety and a variety of other problems and disorders. It is based on the understanding that when traumatic or adverse events occur, the brain often blocks processing of them and stores the original thoughts, sounds, feelings, and images of the event.
Pregnancy and Postpartum
Report
Pregnancy, birth, and becoming a parent are some of the most intensive transitions that women experience in their lifetime. For many women, these events are joyful and grounding at the same time that they cause tremendous strain on their bodies, minds, and family relationships. The common cultural narrative tends to downplay the significant stressors that accompany this period.
