The Groomery is a local family owned company that opened in downtown Charlotte in May of 2016. Capri Brown-Dickson is the owner and lead groomer at The Groomery. Capri has been grooming full time since graduating from Michigan School of Canine Cosmetology in the summer of 2011. Capri's love of animals afforded her the desire and ability to change careers later in life when the company she worked for had to close permanently in early 2011.

Veterinarian proof of rabies vaccination is required for all services. You are encouraged to send a copy online prior to your appointment, otherwise please bring it with you to your appointment. If you would like to schedule multiple pets, you will need to place a separate order for each pet. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Up to date Rabies Vaccination Certificate issued by a licensed veterinarian must be on file with our company. In the spring of 2020 The Groomery, with a $25,000 grant awarded by MEDC, invested over $60,000 in a complete remodel. Our vision was the comfort, safety, health, and artistic creation of the clients and community we serve.
Self-Service

Our private self-bathing area allows customers who would like to, the ability to bathe their own pet and leave the mess with us. Please note we do not allow any flea bathing or skunk bathing in our self-bathing area. The self-bathing area is offered on a walk-in, first come first serve basis. Up to date Rabies Vaccination Certificate issued by a licensed veterinarian must be on file with our company.
