Meet Dr. Jenny Demeaux

Dr. Jenny Demeaux graduated from Bastyr University with a doctorate in naturopathic medicine in 1985. She previously worked as a surgical nurse in the operating room of the University of Washington Hospital (UW). Following graduation, she transitioned to the labor and delivery department at UW, while completing a certificate in midwifery at Bastyr.

Jessica Muniz is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who has been with Holistica for over 10 years, serving in almost every position of the clinic from office manager to registered nurse. When she originally met Dr. Mary Shackelton, the founder and owner of Holistica, she was unfamiliar with the philosophy and treatment approaches of naturopathic medicine.

We DO NOT accept insurance in our office. However, we will provide you with all the necessary codes and a superbill to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. The large majority of insurance companies do not reimburse for our care. We are considered out-of-network and encourage you to call your insurance company in advance of your visit to verify your benefits and determine what they will and will not cover.
