When it opened in 1998, Bear Creek Golf Club was the first 18-holes public golf course in the City of Wentzville. The course is one of the premier public facilities in St. Charles County. The full service Pro Shop offers annual passes to the surrounding homeowners and general public. Leagues, lessons, and tournaments are available to all levels of golfers and are scheduled throughout the season.
The on-site driving range and short game practice facilities are open to daily patrons as well. The club hosts many large corporate, private, and public golf tournaments during the daytime hours. As evening approaches, the ambiance becomes quiet and peaceful, transformed into a haven for elegant wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, social celebrations and a variety of parties year-round.

Bear Creek Golf Club was designed by noted architect Gary Kern and opened in 1998. With the direction of the owners, Gary Kern designed the unique championship-style golf course to include 46 green and fairway bunkers, beautiful lakes and several large creeks that run throughout the course. This included the preservation of most of the trees and natural habitat allowing each hole to have its own unique features, challenges and beauty.

Open to the Public - We encourage everyone to practice. Hours of operation -- Sunrise to Sunset. Great for hitting consistency, ball flight, distance and most importantly, feel. Grass is fertilized, seeded, top dressed and aerated throughout the season. 13,000 square foot practice area. You will be hitting shots into the range so you can practice fairway bunker shots as well.

Our Golf Shop is staffed by professionals who are friendly and knowledgeable about all merchandise and services. You can also sign up online by visiting our Online Store. Each event fee is $32.00. This includes Greens Fee and Cart for 18 holes, coffee and donuts, and cash prizes for flight winners. An optional Closest to the Pin on all Par 3's costs $1.00 per person extra, and the optional cash skins game costs $2.00 per person extra.
