Stephanie Halfen was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela. She received an Architecture degree from Universidad Simon Bolivar where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and an Interior Design Degree from Parsons School of Design in New York where she also graduated with the Highest Honors. Stephanie started her professional career in college when she was commissioned her first residential project located in El Avila National Park.
Turning it into her graduation thesis project she was able to explore in-depth the dialogue between the landscape and architectural form, which enabled her to develop innovative ways to live in a tropical climate. Upon graduation, Stephanie established her architecture and design practice in Caracas in 2005.
