Dr. Samer Jaber founded Washington Square Dermatology with a simple vision - to treat each patient as he would his friends and family. At Washington Square Dermatology, we offer a full range of dermatologic services, from cosmetic and laser treatments to skin cancer screenings and medical dermatology.
We strive for our cosmetic patients to walk away with a youthful, natural appearance and our medical patients to have the resources necessary to treat skin conditions they may have faced for years. Located in downtown New York City, we are in the heart of the Greenwich Village on Washington Square Park, west of Fifth Avenue and just steps from the iconic Washington Square Arch.

Our providers take the time to thoroughly discuss each patient's goals and expectations before selecting the optimal treatment.
Laser Dermatology

There have been significant advances in laser technology over the last twenty years. Lasers are used to improve and treat conditions ranging from acne, facial redness, broken capillaries, blood vessels, wrinkles, fine lines, brown/sun spots, melasma, stretch marks, surgical and acne scars. Acne is the most common skin condition in the United States, affecting over 40 million Americans.
Skin Cancer
Report
Skin cancer is the most common cancer in the U.S., with an estimated three million people affected annually. It is estimated that one in five Americans will develop skin cancer in their lifetime. The good news is that skin cancer, when caught early, is easily treatable. Thus, timely detection is key.
