Our story began with the vision to revive land historically significant for viticulture, as William Winn first planted vines here in 1893. After the 2007 San Diego Firestorm destroyed the original winery, we rebuilt with a commitment to crafting balanced, high-quality wines from Spanish grape varieties. Our expertise combines Roberto Espinosa's background in microbiology with a deep passion for winemaking, focusing on small-lot, single-vineyard productions. We source grapes from our own Escondido vineyard and renowned California regions, ensuring each bottle reflects our dedication to quality and tradition.Our facility offers tastings, glass and bottle service, and private events under a canopy of Ponderosa Pines, with a philosophy of sustainability and community engagement. What are your tasting room hours?
We're open Saturday and Sunday 12:00-5:30pm. Reservations recommended for groups of 7-10 guests.

By far the best winery in town. Good atmosphere, friendly owners and excellent wine. Definitely a jewel in San Diego county . Excellent for a wedding or a get together with friends or family. I was impressed with the friendly ambient and the quality of the wine and music. I definitely recommend this winery before going to any other place so you can experience a really local winery.

The staff was very attentive and nice I would have liked an option of some food. We picked this place around lunch time but the only option was very good cheese crackers, olives and salame with your wine . You can order food but we were not familiar with the area so had to wait till the next winery to eat. Overall the wine was delicious

I have to say, I've been to a lot of wineries. But, Espinosa's is amazing! Roberto and his awesome! His wife is the sweetest! They are very welcoming! This is what a winery should be all about! The owners told us all about their wine and winery's story! My hubby and I, did a tasting first to see what wine we would like, but I have to say, I had more than one favorite! This place is perfect, so cute! You can bring your own picnic food and eat it there at their cute picnic area, while you enjoy their fine wine. The atmosphere is so welcoming! I will definitely will be back and

My friend and I made a reservation for a table there and brought a picnic. We had the best time! Beautiful small vineyard with friendly people working there. We loved ALL the wine and had never experienced that before. I can't wait to go back!

Such great service and wine. Super cute lil family owned winery. We did a tasting $15 andthere was paella and salad as well. Normally they don't serve food but you can bring your own food! The outdoor seating area was beautiful as well

This family knows how to make great wine. Relaxed backyard feel, with plenty of shade to beat the heat. Want to bring a picnic, no problem! The entire family is gracious and we've had our best wine experiences here of any winery in the San Diego area.
