Dr. Luce attended the University of Washington to study aeronautical engineering, graduated with a BS in 1987 and went to work for Boeing in Seattle, WA. After way too many meetings, he went back to school to become a veterinarian, graduating magna cum laude from Washington State University with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1997.

These visits allow us to examine pets from nose to tail to ensure they're healthy or to provide treatment if they aren't. Live Oak Veterinary Hospital takes a proactive approach to pet wellness care, which is why we recommend annual wellness exams, as well as dog and cat vaccinations and parasite control.

Periodontal disease-better known as gum disease-can cause a number of health problems for pets if left untreated, including heart, liver, and kidney disease.
