Our students' learning differences include dyslexia, ADD, ADHD, Asperger syndrome, Tourette syndrome, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, auditory processing, visual processing, communication disorders, executive functioning weakness and nonverbal learning disorders.

The Edison High School Board is comprised of dedicated individuals from a variety of backgrounds who generously offer their knowledge, talents, and experience to serve our school and our students. Verna has been a school administrator for the past 40 plus years. She is known for helping organizations and institutions create and foster a climate where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and respected.
Technology at Edison

The one-to-one technology environment at Edison High School is an integrated strategy that supports the educational experience of our students. Each student benefits from enhanced learning materials and assistive software on an iPad, customized for their specific needs. All student iPads house a personalized set of applications, selected with the individual student's needs in mind.
IPad Case Information

Students receiving a new iPad for the Fall of the 2021-22 school year will receive The model 10.2 inch (8th Generation) 128Gb device. For this year the device is a slightly different size than previous years and will require a different case size. We require that every student purchase and bring to school an acceptable case prior to receiving the iPad.

Edison is the only private high school in Oregon specifically designed to meet the needs of students with complex learning differences. Because no two students are alike, Edison takes a customized approach to learning, offering individual attention when and where it is needed. Within our small and supportive academic environment, students develop strong relationships with faculty members who become familiar with their learning styles.
