Baucom & Mina Derm Surgery, LLC, is a dermatology practice dedicated to the surgical treatment of your skin. We specialize in Mohs surgery and advanced reconstruction for the removal and treatment of skin cancers. Utilizing detailed mapping techniques and an on-site lab, Mohs surgery provides patients with the highest cure rate and minimizes scarring.
Our practice also specializes in removal of benign lesions in difficult or cosmetically sensitive areas. In addition, we perform a number of cosmetic procedures including tumescent liposuction, blepharoplasty, chemical peels and microneedling, injectable fillers and neuromodulators. 1996-present: has served as a volunteer Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology at Emory University.

Dr. Baucom has been a respected Mohs surgeon in the Atlanta area since 1995. He has performed over 30,000 Mohs procedures. Focusing primarily on dermatologic surgery has allowed Dr. Baucom to provide a high level of surgical expertise to his patients. In addition to skin cancer surgery, Dr. Baucom performs cosmetic procedures including liposuction, fat transfer/grafting, neck lifts, scar revision, chemical peels, fillers, and botulinum toxin.

Scotia has more than 20 years of experience working in dermatology, and specifically in our office as the front office manager and scheduler. We are excited to have her take the lead as our Practice Administrator in 2020. She is originally from New York, and has been happily married for over 20 years with 2 wonderful children.

Fellowship

There is no substitute for additional formal training under the guidance of a mentor. Experience is the true education for any surgical specialty as has been demonstrated with other surgical specialties such as cardiac surgery, urology and gastrointestinal surgery. Mohs micrographic surgery involves an additional one to two years of training after residency.
