With our Direct Eye Care model, patients receive up to 60 minutes with Dr. Ramsey for a thorough eye exam and time to troubleshoot any vision concerns.

EyeCare for You is a locally owned and operated, family optometry office that opened its doors in May of 2015. Apex resident, Dr. Kara Ramsey wanted to open an eye care office that provided personalized care by removing the barriers between doctors and their patients.
Her solution was the Direct Care model which allows for doctors to spend more time with their patients by removing the restrictions that many insurance companies place on in-network optometrists.Our optometrist office was founded on the belief that the highest standards of quality should be applied to all aspects of eye care.

Dr. Ramsey, a graduate of the New England College of Optometry, has been providing exceptional vision care since 2009. She is involved in several local service organizations including providing eye exams to the homeless through the Raleigh Rescue Mission. Dr. Ramsey loves chocolate, Thai food, running, and spending time with her daughter.

At EyeCare for You, we are excited to provide a wide variety of eye care services for you and your entire family. This goes well beyond comprehensive eye exams. Annual exams are an excellent way to maintain your vision and ocular health. Sometimes after these exams, a follow-up appointment is needed, especially when if there is any suspected ocular disease.

EyeCare for You opened its doors in the Spring of 2015. We are located in the Lake Pine Plaza (Kroger) on highway 64 in Apex, NC. We have a professional, but laid back approach at our optometry office that will make you and your family feel right at home. Our optometry office offers a full range of optometric services for all ages from infants to seniors.
