There is no place like home! Dr. Sugarman is excited to return to Mooresville where his family has been providing health care for nearly 20 years. After graduating from Mooresville Senior High School, Dr. Sugarman went on to earn his bachelor's degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
He then earned his Optometry Doctorate at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia. His externship training included pediatrics in Charleston, low vision in Philadelphia, and ocular disease at the VA hospital in Salisbury, NC. Following graduation in 2010, he accepted a position at a group practice in Charlotte where he worked until returning to Mooresville in 2013.
