LiveWell Integrative Medicine was founded by Shadi Vahdat, MD, who will personally supervise every aspect of your care. Dr. Vahdat has dedicated her career to diagnosing and addressing the root causes of illnesses through traditional and Functional Medicine.

She takes the time to understand the underlying causes of medical problems, so patients can stop managing symptoms and start managing their ongoing journey towards healing, prevention and optimal health.Dr. Vahdat has taken care of patients in all stages of health and illness - from minor ailments to life-threatening conditions.

Functional Medicine laboratory testing is one crucial aspect of creating your personalized, conventional and holistic treatment plan. Blood tests are done in our office, and stool, urine and saliva are done in the comfort of your home with a special kit. Are hidden food sensitivities making you miserable?

LiveWell patients usually visit with symptoms that have either not been diagnosed by another doctor or that have been treated using only one approach. We identify the complex connections between physical symptoms, underlying risk factors, and emotional triggers. A careful analysis of the interplay of these factors often leads to the identification of several root causes.

Prior to your 1st consultation, Dr. Vahdat will have thoroughly reviewed the detailed questionnaire that we request you complete. We recommend setting aside 1 - 1.5 hours for your first consult. This all-important visit is crucial to identifying initial health issues and evaluating the best way forward.

Dr. Vahdat is an integrative medicine physician that makes time to thoroughly get to know her patient's health history and is prepared to spend up to 1.5 hours on your initial consultation if necessary. She will find out the why, what, where, when and how your health concerns came about through a comprehensive discussion and examination.
