In 2001, Edith Ware established Secure Comfort Care in the state of Michigan. Edith's mother was wheelchair bound, and required frequent trips to and from various medical appointments. As her mother's health declined, Edith found it difficult to handle her mother's transportation needs. She began to seek cab companies with the means to provide wheelchair transportation for clients with oxygen tank dependency.
