Yes, we're still selling bikes. Please contact us at (415) 974-6440 from 11am to 5pm Monday - Friday, or email repairs@warmplanetbikes.com and we'll make arrangements for you to drop off your bike, take a test ride, or buy a bike or other items. Repairs may take a little longer than normal, 24 to 48 hours, so please bear with us during this difficult time.

How did we get here? Many years ago, I started noticing that urban cycling was no longer a fringe activity. People were starting to see us as early adopters rather than freaks. Warm Planet Bikes fills an important niche market in the bicycle business by specializing in folding bikes and electric-assist cargo bikes designed for urban living.

All the bikes we sell are professionally assembled and tuned up before sale. Each bike includes one year of service, free. Any labor covered by a standard tuneup is free for one year (parts and consumables not included). We also handle any manufacturer warranty claims, because sometimes things happen and we'll be there for you.

Unlike some companies that sell over the internet and follow a "once you're out the door, we don't know you anymore", we pick quality brands that support their product. If you discover a manufacturing defect that is covered by the manufacturer's warranty, we will contact the manufacturer, and do all the replacement labor for free.

If you want a high visibility family bike, check out the new HSD performance in Limon from Tern, also available in a bright blue. Bright color isn't the only good thing about this model. Tern speced the more powerful Bosch Performance motor, bigger 500 watt battery, and faster charger. This is NOT the bike on Tern's worldwide website.

The HSD is mighty but mini: It's easy to handle, easy to share, extremely comfortable to ride, and carries a whole lot of cargo. In a compact design that's shorter than a standard bicycle. Whether you're riding, storing, or moving it around, the HSD is a breeze to handle. It's shorter than a regular bike and its weight is the same as a regular ebike.
