Our beautiful 1840's home has been carefully furnished with period furniture and oriental rugs. The house's original owners were tailors by trade, which served as the inspiration for the home's dcor. Located in the Historic District of Old Abingdon and built in 1840, A Tailor's Lodging was completely restored in 2003 using the Department of Interior Standards.

Located in the Historic District of Old Abingdon, we are within walking distance of Barter Theater, many great restaurants, shopping, Wolf Hills Microbrewery, local Arts and Crafts, the Farmers Market and the Virginia Creeper Trail. Outdoor enthusiasts should visit the Virginia Creeper Trail, a National Recreation Trail which has been inducted into the Rails To Trails Hall of Fame.
