Services
Ankle Pain Treatment
Our ankle pain specialists diagnose and treat conditions like sprains, chronic instability, and osteochondritis using both conservative therapies and surgical interventions. We employ R.I.C.E. protocols, physical therapy, and advanced imaging to identify root causes. Patients receive customized rehabilitation plans to restore mobility and prevent long-term complications.
Bunion Correction
We offer comprehensive bunion management from early-stage padding solutions to surgical realignment procedures. Our team uses gait analysis and 3D imaging to assess deformity severity. Treatment plans may include orthotics, splinting, or minimally invasive surgery to alleviate pain and restore proper toe alignment.
Diabetic Foot Care
Our diabetic foot specialists provide preventive care and wound management for patients with neuropathy and circulation issues. Services include regular foot exams, callus removal, and custom footwear fittings. We emphasize early intervention to prevent ulcers and amputations through patient education and specialized monitoring techniques.
Hammertoe Treatment
We address hammertoe deformities through conservative treatments like toe exercises and orthotics, or surgical correction when necessary. Our approach focuses on relieving pressure points and improving footwear compatibility. Patients receive gait analysis to determine the most effective intervention strategy.
Heel Pain Relief
Our heel pain specialists treat plantar fasciitis and heel spurs using shockwave therapy, steroid injections, and custom orthotics. We utilize diagnostic ultrasound to assess tissue damage and develop targeted treatment plans. Most patients find relief through non-surgical interventions combined with stretching regimens.

Did not due a thorough exam. My son has pigeon toe bad on left leg/foot and he did not even catch it. Most Dr.s will have you walk while they evaluate you; nope, not this doctor. Waited a month to see this doctor to get no help.

I was told the cost of custom orthotics (since not covered by Medicare) would be 'around' $500. They also said it would take a few weeks to get them made. First, they just charged me the $500 up front, never confirming the price and said if I casted for them on my first visit it would be less turnaround time to get them made and available for pickup. So 3 weeks went by. I called them and was told that they weren't even sent out for another 8 days from the time I was casted. Their extremely poor excuse was that their office was closed the next day, and that the 'courier&apos

I've been a patient of Dr. Mejia at University Podiatry Group for more than 2 years. I see him every 2 months. He is kind and gentle and always answers any questions that I may have. I typically wait from 2-6 minutes for him to get to the treatment room where he examines and treats my foot condition. His office and medical support staff are professionals. All my appointment days and times have been kept without any changes by the office or Dr. Mejia, I take the responsibility myself to double check my insurance coverage to be be sure that what the office has been told is correct I

This office cancelled twice on me and I had to reschedule which was inconvenient. The second time around I refused to budge and told them I'm going to go to a different office not any of the UCLA podiatry offices since they have as many bad reviews as this one. The receptionist said ok. Is cancelling and having little regard for patients time a standard practice for this office? I think yes.

The numerous calls from them and time changes is too much. In a way after reading the billing issue reviews and the rudeness I side-stepped a minefield not having to deal with any more of this offices
