We offer half-day and whole-day guided Florida fishing charters around Tampa Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. Our charter fishing guides can help you catch plenty of keeper-sized fish including, grouper, snook, trout, amber jack, redfish and mangrove snapper. We also offer game fish charters that target Tarpon and Shark.
All rates are based on 2 guests, but we can accommodate up to 4 anglers. A $150 deposit is required at time of booking to hold your requested fishing date(s). This deposit is fully refundable if trip is cancelled due to weather or if you cancel a minimum of seven (7) days in advance of charter date.

Spanish Sardine Fishing Charters operates from The Spanish Sardine, a 24-foot long open fisherman boat equipped with the latest technology. Rigged with a 250 HP Yamaha Outboard, we're able to get to the fish fast. Despite the large size of our vessel, its low draught allows us to get into some fairly shallow water when necessary.

All guest on the Spanish Sardine Fishing charter are encouraged to take pictures and video of their amazing fishing trip with Capt. Rafael Rios. Often times Capt. Rios and his first mate Gavin will record and later produce fishing videos for charter guests to share with friends and family. Videos are made public and shared on youtube and other social media.

You will definitely catch some fish on this trip! This captain is great for a family fishing outing. This captain worked hard to keep the action going and keep the bait on each rod and taught us how to bring 'em in! This was a catch and release trip and he was on top of every detail for a really nice day.

Captain Rios and The Spanish Sardine Fishing Team regularly take part in local charity fishing tournaments. This involvement along with Participating in the Great American Teach In at Bay area schools and being a frequent guest speaker at The Guy Harvey Saltwater Fishing Camp allows us to give a little back to our wonderful community.

I started Spanish Sardine fishing charter with one goal in mind, and that was to always provide the best experience for anyone who steps aboard the Spanish Sardine. When I was young I had the amazing opportunity to fish with both of my grandfathers.
