In 2015, Prep Academy opened it's doors to 13 high school students to teach dance team prep classes. We now offer dance and gymnastics classes for ages 9 months-adult. All of our instructors are trained through years of dance experience, and have a passion for teaching dance to all ages. Our mission at Prep Academy is more than just teaching dance.
Our mission is to passionately teach dance while being a positive mentor to our students in an uplifting, encouraging environment in order for our students to achieve their fullest potential in dance, and beyond. We remain faithful to our student's success by providing high quality dance instruction, and a willingness to help the individual student each step of the way.

What's different about gymnastics at Prep Academy? We have a 1,200 square foot facility that we use to hold our gymnastics classes in that is set up by the instructor each day before class specifically for class that day. The reason behind this is that in our facility there is still plenty of room to learn and play, but not so much room that children get easily distracted.
Ballroom

New to Prep Academy is our expansion into ballroom dancing with our experts Jade Bolding and Robert Mann bringing the best dance lessons in town to Prep Academy! Anything from latin dancing to country, we have you covered! We offer private and group lessons in the following types of dancing: Two Step, Waltz, Western Line Dances, Schottische, Jitterbug, Foxtrot, Tango, Swing, Cha-Cha, Rumba, Mambo, Salsa, Samba and Meringue.

This program is a powerful and dance enhancing program that helps young dancers learn team building skills. We will help to develop characteristics of strength, perseverance, hard work and leadership in all our dancers. They will have weekly practices. Practice times for 2021-2022 School Year for Junior Elite Pom/Jazz Company Fridays 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Dress Code

Convenient and easy dress codes already sorted by class! Items are shipped to your home. Students are required to wear their hair out of their face, either in a ponytail, bun, braids, bobby pins and etc. Students must wear dance dress in either blue, lilac or pink. Students must have leather tie ballet shoes in pink and black strap tap shoes with pink footed tights.
