We are a local, family-owned in-home care service providing superior, affordable, and compassionate health care to the Columbia area, and 37 total counties in South Carolina. We were founded by a registered nurse, and we are not a large franchise - we are people focused, not profit driven.
The inspiration for our name was Florence Nightingale and we are committed to bringing the same heartfelt compassion and stringent competence to our clients as the Lady with the Lamp brought to the field of nursing all those years ago.

The inspiration for the founding of our business and for each of our nurses, attendants, and staff, has been Florence Nightingale, and we wish to bring our clients her legacy of skill and kindness, with affordable rates at competitive prices, as well as free nursing supervision on a regular and ongoing basis.

The seed for Nightingale's Nursing and Attendants was first planted in the living room of our founder, Gloria Kasler, a Florence, South Carolina RN, sitting at her home computer generating ideas to improve the quality of care in SC homes. By 2001, she had founded Nightingale's, and accepted her first client in 2002.
