We want to help you receive the best and highest quality of dental care available. When you're in our office, you will be taken care of from the moment you walk in the door. When you come in and sit with Dr. Pitt, he will be able to provide you a wide array of dental services. We will focus on making your smile as healthy and as beautiful as it can be.

Bridges

There are a variety of different bridges. The most commonly used bridge is the porcelain fixed bridge, because it resembles your natural teeth. This type of bridge consists of two different crowns that are placed on two anchoring teeth (abutment teeth). The crowns are attached to a pontic (artificial teeth).

Cleaning

A routine check-up usually involves a cleaning and an examination of the teeth. Generally, your dentist will start by scraping off tartar (the hard build up on your teeth). The hygienist will then floss, polish and apply fluoride to your teeth. Sometimes the dentist will want to take X-Rays while you are there.

Crowns

A crown restores the original size and shape of your tooth by encasing it in a synthetic covering. Generally this is done to strengthen the tooth structure when it cannot be restored with a filling or any other type of restoration. There are several different types of crowns, but the most popular is porcelain because it closely resembles your natural teeth.
