She received both her bachelor's and master's degrees from Seton Hall University, and then spent the next few years working for a local public accounting firm before deciding to branch off on her own. She received her CPA licensure from the state of New Jersey in the beginning of 2009, and has since maintained the designation with annual continuing education classes.
