I lived at Ashley Park Apartments in New Bern, NC for 4 years. Apartments and grounds were always clean and safe. Apartments are stylish and have a lot of space. Karen Tutay (property manager) and maintenance were always there when I needed them and did an excellent job. I only moved because my family is growing and we needed more space. If you are looking for a new apartment, you should consider them! Thank you Karen and team for making my apartment feel like home for so long.

I live in one of their apartment complexes. Currently we have no building manager and even when we do they are only here 18 hours a week. If you need any repairs done I hope you are very patient. I have been waiting over 6 months just to have my living room blinds replaced. When I called about renting an apartment, I was told it was a 55 and older community. After being here going on 2 years they are now renting out 4 apartments to young people. The apartments are a fire hazard due to the fact you only have one exit in case of a fire because windows are sealed shut. They have had 4 maintenance

I've been working for WAJ Management a little over three years now. I mainly work with my regional manager and she is great!! If I ever need advice or help, she always finds a moment to speak with me. There is a sense of teamwork and that's important to me. I am considered a part-time employee, and I get paid holidays. You can't get that just anywhere. WAJ values their employees and it shows. They are a great company to work for.

I'm a resident of Oakley Square Apartments in Durham. Since our manager was killed a few years ago everything has went downhill. The current property manager is horrible. He is very unprofessional, rude and arrogant. He doesn't know how to conduct his self as a professional person. He speaks to the tenants hateful and all he gives a damn about is getting your rent paid. We rarely have inspections even though a notice will be put out they don't seem to follow through. Maintenance barely fixes anything that needs to be fixed. I can't see how a new management company hasn't took over because this

These people don't want to fix anything that messes up. They didn't want to fix everything after Hurricane Matthew hit. They didn't even fix everything that needed to be fixed. The cabinets under our sink are warped, my bathtub has cracks in it that causes water to leak on the floor which is causing mold. They won't fix it. I contacted my office manager's supervisor thinking I would get help, but they said my husband and I would have to fix it at our own expense. I have a 9 year old child who has to live in this. I guess my family will just die of mold because they definitely don't care. We're

According to the Manager at Trinity Ridge Apts, you can't EXPECT this place to look like or run as well as the high dollar joint he lives in because it accepts housing vouchers. Because we all know that is a valid reason NOT to sweep, power wash, install proper lighting, replace broken appliances, enforce the leash laws for pets, clean and/or replace the carpets as a part of regular maintenance, fix a retaining wall that has been cordoned off with ghetto orange fencing for 2 years, install handicap devices for entry and exit to the building, maintain individual privacy when speaking with the manager

I'm an auditor for a firm that is engaged by WAJ Management to audit their multi-family properties. The management team has many years of experience under their belt and is a pleasure to work with. We enjoy coming to Raleigh a few weeks each year to work with these fine folks.

I wish I could give the management here a -10. The staff has no professionalism and they lack customer service etiquette. I've worked for an apartment complex as a leasing agent and never have i seen a rental office run as they are. From staff talking negatively about possible residents in the background of phone calls to flat out lies and Emily the self pronounced "main manager" forging signatures on government documents. I've never felt obligated to leave a review on any business establishment however, WAJ Management shouldn't be allowed to continue with its current staff. Hopefully those interested

The apartment manager at Bradford Place Apts was one of the rudest people to my face that I’ve ever spoken with in my life and basically admitted to me that she didn’t care what concerns the tenants have because she was going to leave at the first opportunity she could. I have complained about horrendous noise from the neighbors for a few years now and the complex has ignored my requests for help while continuing to raise the rent.
As for the property the units are simple and poorly kept with unsafe appliances and I had to prevent a fire from breaking out from faulty wiring behind my fuse

I live in an apartment building managed by WAJ, and they are little better than slumlords, even with $1.7 M annual sales. They refuse to fix items such as broken windows & doors until forced to by Section 8. They will not invest in the equipment needed to maintain the building and grounds - lawnmower, tools, carpet cleaner, etc. so the building is increasingly dirty and hazardous. The smoke detectors do not work, and there are serious mold problems. I have never lived in a place so ignored by management, and so hostile to tenants' requests for anything. I will never live in another building managed
