
Shamrock Moving and Storage was founded in 1975 by Bob & Barbara Fallon in San Francisco, CA. After learning his trade at another local mover, along with his wife Barbara, Bob started Shamrock with one truck and a mission: "Take care of the customer and the customer will take care of you." He and his family have followed this creed since the company's inception, with great success.
We started with one employee, Bob himself, and one truck. They operated out of a small office in the basement of their house, where Barbara worked while simultaneously taking care of their four children. Bob went out did the moves with 1 helper. We now operate almost 30 vehicles with about 45 employees across 3 locations, and move over 3,000 people a year.

PACKING - We can come in and pack your whole house or we can take over where you left off. Our crews are experts in packing all types of items from china to art to antique mirrors and chandeliers. MOVING - We handle all phases of your residential move, from providing free, no obligation in home estimates, to helping you secure parking permits.

PACKING / PREPPING - We can pack your whole office or just common areas like kitchens, file/supply rooms or conference rooms. We can also come in before your move and prep all your items like disassemble desks, place items on dollies and cart or bin monitors or other items so the moving process goes faster and more efficiently.

At Shamrock we are pleased to offer two different types of storage to meet all your access, security and convenience needs. Here's what we can do. This type of storage is the predominant type of storage that moving and storage companies like Shamrock offer. It means just that, "Full Service".
We will prep, inventory and pick up the items at your home or business, transfer them to one of our facilities in the Bay Area and then pack them into our 5x7x7ft storage vaults (also called Storage containers or Storage Pods by some.)The items are then sealed in their vaults (some of our customers have 1 vault some have 20 vaults) and then they are stacked away in one of our facilities with the other 2500 we currently have.

WAREHOUSES / STORAGE: All clients/projects will be serviced through one of our state-of-the-art storage facility in South San Francisco, . The office and warehouse are exclusively Shamrock property, not shared with any other business. It is fully staffed from 7:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday, and 8:00am to 12:00pm on Saturdays.
