Reviews
Report
I contacted Phoenix Envirocorp after being referred to them by our home inspector. We were completing the due diligence period and there was water damage that was concerning. I called the office and arranged for testing the next week. The tech arrived when scheduled and completed the testing of the concerned area as well as one additional area that I asked her about.
Mold & Mildew
Report
Mold and mildew are common outdoors, but when found indoors, they indicate larger issues. Severe water loss is not the only cause of mold growth, high relative humidity, gaps in wall or ceiling cavities, malfunctioning HVAC systems, and myriad other issues, both large and small, can cause mold growth.
Lead
Report
Lead has long been recognized as a harmful pollutant. In homes with small children, it is especially important to identify the lead hazards since small children are more likely to suffer from lead exposure. A lead inspection is a key step in identifying lead hazards within your home. If your home was built before 1978, there is a chance that lead-based paint was used on the interior or exterior or both.
Energy Audits
Report
Have a concern with dangerous materials such as asbestos, mold, lead, or carbon monoxide in your home? An energy audit can help you discover where and how your home is using energy, if it is being used inefficiently or being waste, and provide effective solutions.
An energy audit can test the tightness of your home by checking for leaks in the building's envelope; ensure that spaces are properly insulated with the correct insulation amount and R-value; or test the efficiency and backdraft of gas-fueled appliances or heating equipment (called a Combustion Appliance Zone test).
