I first came upon Amika when we had our first baby. I had not planned in advance but once we were home I realized I would really like newborn photos. Amika was reasonably priced and able to accommodate us on short notice. That first experience was awesome! Her and her assistant were patient and had oodles of great ideas that totally captured our personality.

A year later we decided to work with her again as our son turned one. We got some truly beautiful family photos out of that shoot. Five months ago we had our second baby, a girl. We had Amika booked in advance this time! Her ability to capture our rambunctious three year old and our beautiful baby in the same frame was truly amazing.

Session Fees

A Newborn Session is ideal way to remember how small your little love was at the beginning of life. The session will take place between 8-21 days. I set no time limit to these session's because I go by the baby and reserve plenty of time for feedings, soothing, and diaper changes. A typical session lasts between 1.5 and 2.5 hours.

Amika Gair Photography takes on a very limited amount of sessions per month (6-8) to ensure the highest personalized customer experience and to not let any session feel rushed or overlooked. It is for this reason that we recommend booking 2 to 3 months before your due date to guarantee that you're in our calendar.
