The Course

Oceana Golf Club is a testament to the power of golf in bringing people together from all walks of life. Lacking a nearby place to play, golf enthusiasts from the Shelby and Hart communities joined together to design and develop Oceana County's first golf course. Volunteers, ranging from cherry farmers to businessmen, offered their time, talent, and equipment to build the course, which officially opened for play in 1962.
Leagues

Golf leagues are a great way to meet new people, have fun with friends, and improve your golf game! At Oceana Golf Club league nights are Monday through Wednesday and consist of 2 person teams starting in May and finishing at the end of August. Please call the pro shop if interested in league play, if the league is full or not open we can place you on a sub list for the upcoming season.
The Great Pumpkin Open

Celebrate fall and get into the Halloween spirit with our Great Pumpkin tournament. Milder temperatures and autumn colors make for a welcome backdrop for competitive rounds involving two-person teams.
This event is scored as two-person teams will play the same nine holes two times, only from different tee markers; the first played as a Scramble from the Pumpkin Tee Markers and the last played as Alternate Shot from the Blue Tee Markers - all played cross-country style!Congrats to Wes Vanderwilke and Derrick Woodland on winning the 2020 Great Pumpkin Open with a score of 62!

Club Championship Tournament

We welcome all of our members to challenge your golf skills through friendly competition. Our annual Oceana Golf Club Championship consists of a Championship Flight, Handicap Flight, Senior Flight, Super Senior Flight, and Ladies Flight. The game is played by the holes in Match Play. This members-only event will compete in various flights.
