When getting your windows tinted, it's important to consider the quality of tint that's being installed. There are several grades of tint available - metallic tint, dyed tint, carbon tint, and ceramic tint. The metallic and dyed tint are lower quality tint films. These films do not last as long - after a year or two, the film will typically fade and start to bubble.
Additionally, these films are not as effective at blocking harmful UV rays. However, higher quality window film will not fade, are very effective at blocking UV rays, and will last for years. We only install high quality film - carbon and ceramic. Want more privacy in your vehicle or home? Maybe you're interested in decreasing your risk for skin caner.
