Karl Finkenbinder is a native of Clearwater, Kansas where he was raised on a small wheat farm. He developed his hard work ethic at a young age. After graduating college at Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, Oklahoma, Karl worked in Dallas, Texas for a developer who built large, multi-family housing projects within the inner city.

After law school, Tom had the privilege of serving as term law clerk for the Hon. Kathryn H. Vratil, former Chief Judge for the United States District Court for the District of Kansas. After his clerkship, Tom practiced as a commercial litigator in the greater Kansas City area, before relocating to the Tri-Lakes region.
