Organized in 1958 with the first round of golf played on Memorial Day of 1959, Lake View Country Club, designed and built by Donald Ross protg, James Gillmore Harrison, has proven to be the Erie area's premier test of golf. Lake View has hosted several prestigious tournaments, including the West Penn Amateur Championship and the Pennsylvania State Amateur Championship.
Located in the quaint town of North East, Lake View's course measures 6883 yards and plays to a par of 72. The course hosts 200+ members yearly as well as a number of charitable events, tournaments, college and high school golf teams. Lake View is a wonderful club for families, serious golfers, and casual players.

Host of the 1996 PA State Amateur Championship and the 2002 West Penn Amateur Championship, Lake View Country Club is considered one of the most challenging golf courses in the region. Course conditions are held to a very high standard by our Certified Golf Course Superintendent Gordon Seliga. Lake View's par-72, 6883-yard layout features elevation changes and asks players of every level to hit every club in their bag.
