Welcome to Saltwater Solutions Guide Services, home of some of the most action packed fly and light tackle fishing! Being new to saltwater fishing, Travis had me catching reds left and right by the end of the day. Awesome guy, awesome fishing, awesome life. Not only is Travis a man of faith and character, but he is a great fisherman and guide.
Can't ask for a nicer guy to be around. Catching a 44" inch bull redfish on the fly was my fish of a lifetime, and oh yeah, the other hundreds of redfish throughout all of our trips have been great too."

My name is Captain Travis Huckeba. I was born and raised in the Panhandle of Florida, home of the Forgotten Coast. I fish some of the best waters in the world for Tarpon and Red fish. I have guided the Gulf Coast waters since 2001 from the panhandle of Florida to the Biloxi marsh of Louisiana, specializing in fly fishing and light tackle for Tarpon and Red fish.

Although you are more than welcome to bring your own rods and gear, I have all of the essentials to make your packing light. Countless number of fly rods, spin rods, flies, lures, reels, etc. If you do bring your own rod and reel please arrive with: 8-10wt rods with floating lines for reds and 11-12wt with floating lines for tarpon.

The Louisiana marsh was on fire today! The wind was calm in the morning and the fish were schooled up on points and in the back coves. We were able to catch a lot of nice fish using a shrimp pattern fly. If you get the weather, you get good fishing! Finally got a few sunny days in the Louisiana marsh.
