We use the scientifically proven method of heating the room to 105 degrees F with 40% humidity for a most of our classes. This exact combination of heat and humidity increases your heart rate and metabolism providing an incredible cardiovascular workout. It also warms your muscles, making them more pliable, and makes you sweat (a lot) allowing you to release toxins, cleanse your body, and melt away excess fat.

Blue Moon Yoga opened in 2006 and Britney and Mike Easton joyfully became the new owners in July of 2013. Since then, the vibe and classes have continued to transform as we grow and flow as a supportive yoga community. You are welcome here, and we can't wait to meet you! We are passionate about helping everyone who comes through our doors pursue and achieve the amazing benefits of heated yoga.

With decades of combined experience (and huge followings), we are honored to be blessed with such incredible staff who provide a warm, welcoming environment to all! Britney is a Fresno native who began practicing yoga while living in San Francisco many years ago.

Our yoga is not just on the mat. We are committed to being a light in the community. Our studio has raised over $20,000 in the past 9 years combined at our annual "Cupcakes for Cancer" fundraiser in February, with proceeds offered directly to friends of the yoga studio who are battling cancer. We also offer "Karma Yoga" opportunities, including donation-based classes and auction donations for local schools and charities.

It is recommended to practice no less than 10 times a month to get the most benefit. The more you practice, the more benefits, and you can consider your yoga practice as your "internal" hygiene: you have to clean out the insides to have good health. We love hearing from you! We are proud to say that over 90% of our classes are made for all levels of practitioner. We designed them that way! Our students are young, old, stiff, flexible, losing weight and building strength, flexibility, focus, discipline, stamina and much more. Our classes teach beginning postures with advanced variations for the more experienced yogis/pilates, Blue Moon studios are for absolutely EVERYBODY!
