Services
HVAC Cleaning
Our HVAC cleaning service removes contaminants from yacht air handling systems. Using specialized marine-grade equipment, we clean coils, blowers, and ductwork to improve air quality and system efficiency. This service eliminates mold, dust, and odors while preventing future contamination through proper sanitization techniques.
Mold Remediation
We specialize in complete marine mold remediation, addressing contamination from water damage or humidity. Our process includes containment, HEPA vacuuming, antimicrobial treatment, and air purification. The service restores affected areas while protecting yacht interiors and ensuring crew and guest health through certified cleaning protocols.
Air Duct Sanitization
This service targets ductwork contamination in marine environments. We use negative air machines and rotary brushes to remove debris, followed by electrostatic disinfection. The process improves airflow efficiency, eliminates odors, and creates healthier onboard environments while maintaining the integrity of yacht interior finishes.
Galley Exhaust Cleaning
Our galley hood and exhaust system cleaning removes grease buildup from commercial kitchen vents. Using marine-specific degreasers and HEPA-filtered equipment, we clean ductwork and hoods to prevent fire hazards and maintain hygiene standards while protecting surrounding surfaces during the cleaning process.
Air Quality Testing
We conduct comprehensive air quality assessments using advanced monitoring equipment. This service identifies contaminants like mold spores, bacteria, and volatile organic compounds. Testing helps determine remediation needs and verifies post-cleaning air quality improvements through laboratory analysis of collected samples.

These guys are top notch. I was impressed with service. The AC handlers, Blowers, and duct work was cleaned to like new. They replaced a lot of duct work we weren't even sure could be accessed. The blower motors were taken apart to be cleaned. The guys were on time and worked late everyday to get job done in projected time frame. They surely made the air in our Yacht better to breath. Thanks for your hard work guys. It is hard to find vendors that do proper job without having a lot of oversight. You guys nailed it! Captain Andrew Pepsny M/Y Silver Mama

Blue Star has been great to have on board. Theyve always done a thorough job with mold remediation and with our galley hoods, as well as all the protection they put up beforehand. Blue Star is also consistent with their follow up, answering questions as they arise and will let me know when Im over due for service. Highly recommend!

Blue Star was hired onboard to service fresh air make up an air handlers throughout the vessel, with a total 51 units. After using Blue Star for years for the Laundry and Galley ducting it was an easy choice selecting them for this work. High level of communication from putting the proposal together to arranging the guys onboard,. Each area was completely protected, air handlers detailed clean in place and was also agreed upon to replace as much ducting where practical. Extremely happy with the work performed and would recommend Blue Star to any other vessel looking at performing high quality
