My name is Shelly, and I have been the owner of Wee Generation Child Care Center since 2007. I had my first child twenty-nine years ago and was unable to find quality day care for him. Starting my own business was not something that I had ever really thought about, but it was my best option at the time.
I opened a small, in-home daycare center in 1990. I have never regretted my decision. Not only did I get the opportunity to spend more time with my own children, but I also had the opportunity to open my heart and home to others.

We believe that children learn best through tactile learning experiences. Based on that principle, we have developed a play-based, hands-on curriculum to help children grow as individuals and also as members of a supportive learning community.
While Wee Generation's goal is to provide a nurturing environment to help all children develop academically, socially, and emotionally, the day is also balanced between direct instruction and imaginative plays.Our curriculum is broken up into three blocks: circle time, arts and crafts, and centers.
