Province Lake Golf is a beautiful blend of the best of classic golf with outstanding modern design. The traditional and the new have been combined to create a wonderful playing experience for today's golfers. Along the way you'll also be treated to spectacular views of the lake, and occasionally you'll spot the wildlife that make their home in the area.

Province Lake Golf was originally built in 1918 as a 9-hole course along the shores of Province Lake by Joseph Emery and his friends and business associates. Emery, a native of Dover, N.H., served as president of Lord & Taylor in New York City and visited Province Lake each summer.
The original course was designed by Lawrence Van Etten, who laid out a number of courses on the East Coast, including a course at Deal Country Club in New Jersey and the original Wykagyl Course in New Rochelle, N.Y.In 1988, a second nine was built, designed by renowned East Coast architect Brian Silva.

Cancellation Policy: At least 24 hours notice must be given to cancel or make changes to a tee time. You may do this during daylight hours either in person or over the phone by calling (207)-793-4904. If the change or cancellation is not made within this timeframe, the credit card holder is responsible for all applicable charges and will be automatically billed the full price for all players booked under the reservation.

Follow Route 28 to the intersection of Routes 28 and 16. Take a left onto Route 16 North. Follow Route 16 North to the intersection of Routes 16 and 25. Take a right onto Route 25 East and follow Route 25 East to the intersection of Routes 25 and 153. Take a right onto Route 153 South and follow Route 153 South for approximately 8.5 miles to the course.

We have a 280-yard long driving range where you can use all the clubs in your bag. Hit balls on artificial mats near the pro shop or use the turf stations behind the range. You can take a cart path through the woods to the turf area. We also have two practice putting greens available so that you can perfect your chipping and putting; find out the speed of our greens before you play.

Less than five minutes from the main building, The Guest House is nestled in the beautiful forest surrounding the course. This private home has spacious room for outdoor activities or BBQ's while enjoying a celebration at PLG or your golf retreat. The Guest House has two queen size bedrooms, two bathrooms, futon and lower level bunkroom with 6 built in bunks, and three sofas.
