Our practice has served the greater Calhoun County area for over 35 years. Dr. James Johnson constructed our office in the early 1970's, and practiced full time here until 2002. Dr. Johnson still remains active in our practice and sees patients at least once a week in our office. Through such continuity, we have been able to consistently serve our wonderful and loyal patients.

Teeth Cleanings- A teeth cleaning, or prophylaxis, is a preventative procedure to remove soft and hard plaque (tartar) from the teeth to prevent tooth decay. Plaque accumulates on the teeth as we eat on a daily basis. Over time small amounts of soft plaque become hard and adheres to the teeth. Bacteria in the mouth use the plaques on the teeth as energy to weaken the tooth and create cavities.

We understand that the first visit to a dental office can often be filled with anxiety and many questions about what to expect. Upon your initial visit to our office as a new patient, you will find a welcoming environment in which we will discuss your oral health. In order to provide you with the best diagnoses and treatment options, we will be taking x-rays and gathering as much information as possible regarding your medical history.
