Sierra Shanti Studio
Sierra Shanti Virtual Studio offers Yoga, Tai Chi & Wellness Workshops from the beautiful heart of Bishop, CA. Our mission is to create a ripple effect of self love through self care. The owner, Lauren Robinson, transformed her life, and healed herself through holistic therapies after a major "gut wrenching" 4-year gut health battle.

Western medicine failed her because it failed to work on the root issue. All of the healing modalities at Sierra Shanti focus on the root and inspire hope. Sierra Shanti Virtual Studio is the container in which that sweet seed of change is planted. We are here to not only touch lives locally here in Bishop, but to inspire others globally.

This class is medicine for the soul, a slow-build, moderately active all levels flow class, with a focus on heart opening postures. Backbending is known to increase joy and confidence. Leave peaceful and ready to take on your day. T'ai-chi is the ancient Chinese martial art-based wellness movement practice that exercises mind and body into a peaceful, dynamic, and unified whole.
Studio etiquette

Follow these practices to enhance the experience for yourself, and for all at Sierra Shanti Studio. No Cell Phones are permitted in the practice space unless you have a reason to have the phone on you (on-call), simply let the teacher know. Please pre-register online at least 30 minutes before your class begins (class registration closes 30 minutes before).
Reiki

I was introduced to Reiki over 20 years ago to assist in healing my anxiety, depression, and an eating disorder. After a session, I always felt a sense of joy and rejuvenation which lasted weeks after a treatment. As life moved forward, I chose a career in the Hospitality Industry where I was able to enhance my education in nutrition and diet.

Join us as we learn Breath Meditation, sometimes called calm abiding, mindfulness meditation, or Shamatha. Meditation is not an attempt to create a blank mind, rather it is the practice for cultivating calm, kindness, compassion, and insight. Join us at 7pm to learn 5 simple steps to start your meditation practice and the many ways meditation can be used!
