Since 1998, Dr. Jerome has provided reading and writing lessons to specific types of students. These include exceptional, gifted or struggling students, as well as, visual-spatial learners (including English language learners). As a middle school teacher, she taught reading, writing, math, religion and social studies.

To help with this, students with the longest history of consecutive lessons receive top booking. Prospective clients have a better chance of securing a spot when they request services at the Katy office.

AWE lessons are student-centered. For example, even siblings receive a different set of services. Each lesson, based on developmentally appropriate activities, matches the intellectual, psychological, social and affectual stages of each student. No two students are ever alike. Students naturally become motivated during each lesson.

Each one of these books are highly recommended by Dr. Jerome from firsthand experience in using them with her students. My first peer-reviewed article was published under the tutelage of Dr. Lee Mountain while I was in graduate school at the University of Houston. She was not only my professor, but also my dissertation committee member. I will remember her impact on me for the rest of my life. In other words, during my academic studies I was fortunate enough to have astute professors who guided my work toward publication.
