I perform professional home inspections for buyers, sellers and current homeowners in Northwest, Ohio and Southeast, Michigan. A good home inspector has a keen eye for detail, is mechanically inclined, has a desire to help people, is unbiased in their reporting and practices good ethics. General Home Inspections

A general home inspection is a non-invasive objective visual examination of the physical structure and systems of a house, from the roof to the foundation. On average, a single-family home inspection usually takes 3 hours to complete, though this is heavily dependent on the the size and condition of the home.
Video Sewer Scope
Report
AHI provides video inspections of the main sewer lateral or "building sewer" as an add-on to your home inspection. The condition of the sewer line is generally unknown until a sewer scope camera is fed through the lateral or you have a sewer backup into your home. Replacing a sewer line can be very costly and I know this from my own experience.
Radon Testing
Report
People can be exposed to radon primarily from breathing radon in air that comes through cracks and gaps in buildings and homes. Because radon comes naturally from the earth, people are always exposed to it. If you haven't had your home tested for Radon, be sure to do it as soon as possible. If you find that you have high radon levels, there are ways to remedy this problem.

A thorough home inspection can uncover critical information about a house and it's systems.
