Capt Ben and crew delivered on a slated 1/2 day charter in which they ended up taking our boat out 35mi and more like 3/4 day charter for the same price (this is no small expense or time expenditure). They wanted to give us the best opportunity to get on fish, and that's where the fish were at that point of the season (9/18) - so we went.
Came away with just shy of 50 lb of fish, very seamless operation from beginning to end. Handy to have a fish processor on the dock waiting upon return. My second halibut charter, and a great experience!

We had a party of seven and we all limited out. Captain Wes and his crewmen Ben and Brandon were fantastic, fun, professional, and very informational. We all had a great time and will definitely come back again. Kathy and Megan in the office were also so helpful and kind and made sure we got everything we needed including notifying us that weather was bad on our scheduled day and moved us to the next day. Great people. Bucket list trip checked off due to great people. Thank you all

A friend recommended North Country Halibut Charters based on his experiences with them. He was right. Captain Brian is top notch! He put us on the fish and kept us there. He took an interest in making sure my son, who was not an experienced angler, was successful. Ally was amazing keeping up with the frenzy and filleting them afterwards. My family had a great time and that is what matters to me. I would recommend Captain Brian, Ally and North Country without reservation.
