Starting as a private club in 1959, Rawiga Golf Club now operates as a premier public golf course and banquet facility. The club features a championship golf course that is maintained in superb shape, conditions rarely found at public golf courses. The club also hosts numerous special events, such as weddings, banquets, charity events, leagues and outings.

The focal point of Rawiga is a challenging 18-hole championship golf course. The layout, designed by noted architect E.L. Packard, offers four sets of tees and tests players of all abilities. The course plays to par 72 and stretches to 6,711 yards from the championship tees (72.2 rating, 128 slope).

Rawiga's 15th hole, a par 3 with tees ranging from 160 to 216 yards, is a great example of how course architect E.L. Packard took advantage of the site's beautiful rolling terrain. The tee shot is hit over a broad valley that runs through the middle of the course. From an elevated tee located on a parkland-like plateau, the 80-foot elevation change makes the hole play slightly shorter than its listed length.
