Gary's history with San Diego BMW Motorcycles goes back to the late 1980's when was stationed in San Diego with the Navy. While here he purchased his first BMW, a K75. Gary was riding a lot at the time and became a customer of Brattin Motors, the independent BMW dealership on El Cajon Blvd. A few years later, he left the navy and spent a couple of years Road-racing motorcycles throughout the Mid Atlantic and Great Lakes regions.
