Cardinal began in in 1975 as a family-owned general home contracting business. We were three relatives working in a small garage space in the Kensington section of Philadelphia but within our first six months of operation, we were subcontracted to do "re-facing" work. Over the next few years we realized that we could produce a better quality product that what we currently being subcontracted to install.
We revised our business model to improve the re-facing process by using a wood screw, no-glue installation and three-quarter inch solid wood framing, quarter inch side paneling and bottoms. The end result was wrapping new cabinets around your existing ones. Our goal was to provide kitchen spaces without the large budget needed at the time for a full demolition and rebuild.

Kitchen Cabinet Refacing
Report
Most people think of refacing as a paper-thin laminate or wood veneer, which must be glued on to your old cabinet creating doubt in the longevity of the materials. Cardinal's refacing process completely removes this concern with our NO GLUE front frame installation. Our frame is constructed of 3/4 solid wood in your choice of wood and finish.
Custom Home Cabinetry
Report
In this home in Richboro, Bucks County we created a drop spot for the growing children's book bags, storage for the family's shoes, slide out baskets for winter weather gear, and more. You may have your dream home location in Center City, Philadelphia but lack the storage to meet your needs. We can design a cabinet as we did for this home in the Fairmount neighborhood.
