In 1961 Phillip and Mary Vance Banks started a flower business in Burnsville, which evolved into Banks Drug Store. When the business moved to the Banks Family Square shopping center in the 70's several jewelry cases were added. As a young girl, their daughter Tina, grew up in the business working with her mom.
In 1983 Mary Vance passed away after a long battle with cancer. In 1992 land was acquired and a new store was designed at its current location 605 East Main Street in Burnsville. Tina was married to Michael Sink in 1993. And through the years has continued her education in the jewelry industry with gemologist courses, Focus business management, IJO, RJO, NCJA and watch and jewelry repair.
