We're a nurturing child care center for children age 6 weeks up to 5 years with emphasis on nature, intergenerational activities, and conflict resolution. Since 1976 Hesston Community Child Care has existed to be of service to the child, the parent, and the community. Honest efforts are made to provide loving, caring, adequate supervision, wholesome recreation and stimulating learning experiences for all children, in order to help them develop well-rounded personalities.

Punishment which is humiliating, frightening, or physically harmful to the child is prohibited. Verbal abuse, threats, or derogatory remarks about the child are not allowed. Children at the Center are not allowed to hurt another child or the teacher physically or to hurt their feelings, or to destroy property.
Intergenerational

Our unique center was purposefully built to promote many levels of interactions with the residents of Schowalter Villa. Observation through large windows into our multli-purpose room and infant/toddler rooms as well as low outside windows in each classroom. Special planned activities in our large room, in the Villa lounges, or on "Main Street" the connecting link between our buildings.
School-Age

Hesston Community Child Care Association offers parents a full day Summer Enrichment Program, known as Kids Connect. This is an extension of our Intergenerational Child Development Center Program for our school age children who have finished kindergarten and who are under 12 years of age. Activity fee: $25 per child or $50 per family, this will cover the cost of a T-shirt, water bottle and a string backpack.
Tuition and Fees

Statements will be issued the first of each month showing charges for the coming month plus any variations on last month's charges. Fees include all meals and snacks served during the time of attendance, plus a preschool program. Families with varying schedules need to pay for any days they may need.
