Report
My father passed away Friday, October 14th. I was devastated, still am, 3 months later. As the shock starts to wear off, and reality sets in, I am realizing what has happened, and it is very hard to accept. My childhood friend recommended grief counseling, saying she attended after her father died. I never even knew it existed. These counselors and support group are amazing. They welcome you with open arms, truly understand where you are coming from, because they have survived the same horrible ordeal themselves. Power in numbers is a true statement.
