Situated in central Wisconsin, in the heart of Amish country - a reasonable drive from most major Midwest cities. The retreat encompasses 35 acres of sky blue water, majestic hardwoods and pines, meadows and landscaped gardens. Your wedding will be performed in a haunting outdoor chapel, on a hilltop that overlooks tranquil Caribou Bay.
A most unique dwelling for family and friends to gather and celebrate. When you walk through the portal of Caribou Bay Retreat's Event Center, you immediately know you're in a special space. Roughhewn beams accent galvanized metal walls. Grape vines filled with thousands of twinkle lights transform an ordinary ceiling into a magical room.
Winter, the dreamiest season of them all. Guests describe Caribou Bay winter weddings as glamorous, cinematic and magical. Where colors are a bit more exaggerated and pronounced. Snow is a dazzling white, the afternoon sky is a vibrant blue and the night sky is dark and mysterious. Winter air is the cleanest air.

It was a fabulous place for a wedding. Grounds were well kept and the buildings seem to be in good shape. The pole barn the reception was in was decorated beautifully and you wouldn't have known you were actually in a barn. One problem was bench seating for half the table. Long night without a back rest for some. Very nice Venue.

Caribou Bay retreat offers an excellent opportunity for family reunions weekend or weekday getaways or the ultimate location for your wedding day celebration. there are a number of buildings on the property that are available for you to use. The grounds are impeccable. In the hosts are five-star. We look forward to every visit we make here for photo and video services on our client's wedding days. I look forward to visiting again soon and perhaps even a personal visit for a short relaxing getaway.

This place is truly a hidden gem!! In the country in a tiny town, you wouldn't expect these accommodations! The set up is pure beauty! Perfect for natural outdoor weddings! Even my husband was blown away when we visited the first time! The amount of money you spend for a weekend wedding here is very similar to other barn wedding venues BUT the accommodations and the time you have the space is sooooooo much more than we saw anywhere else!! So it truly is so reasonable!! The owners were so great to work with! Made it completely fun and easy and our own 😍

LOOK NO FURTHER ....THIS IS SHANGRI LA!!!! A ONE STOP SHOP FRIENDS!!! We have been coming to the Caribou for 10 years! Mona and Jack are INCREDIBLE people - a dynamic du and they treat you like family! Their property is BREATHTAKING...and wandering the grounds is like being in a storybook romance! There are 3 sections: 🌿The first portion is the outdoor ceremony /sanctuary overlooking the lake nestled amongst pine trees and wildlife. The windy pathway flows through the mystical forest, past a charming log cabin and over a vintage bridge - simply DIVINE, someone catch me I'm starting to swoon
